Los Baños, Laguna has been known for hot springs but are you looking for a resort where you can get more value from what you paid for?
If you have a pet, you're probably tired of having to leave your pet at home.
Let me tell you about our recent vacation to Tadlac lake also known as Alligator Lake, a crater lake located in Los Baños Laguna, just a few hours away from Manila.
The great number of crocodiles and alligators that used to live here gave the lake its name.
We’re staying in one of the resorts around the lake, Laresio Lakeside Resort and Spa and if you want a visual experience of the place have a look at this short video of our trip!
Before you reach Laresio, the entrance to what seems like a residential area will ask you to pay an environmental fee of Php 20.00 per head.
Once you have settled your payment, Laresio Lakeside Resort is just a few steps away.
Safety protocols are implemented as part of the new normal. A medical certificate is not required but you have to submit a health declaration form.
They have day tour, overnight and villa packages and they accept electronic payments (Alipay, WeChat Pay and GCash) even on food!
I suggest visiting on a weekday to avoid the crowd.
We were literally the only guests at the time of our visit!
Laresio is not just another boring pet friendly accommodation because you can bring your fur baby to join in some of your activities, which we will show you later!
Dining
They have sodas, non-carbonated drinks like my favorite Raspberry Sola, and alcoholic beverages as well.
Accommodation
This was our room for the day!
It’s their Standard Room for a small group of 2 - 4 persons that is included in our Supreme Small Group Package and it costs Php 2,500.00 per head.
This rate already includes access to all activities.
You can stay for 22 hours and you have resort access for 36 hours.
That means, you have so much time to use the pool and do all the fun activities that they have to offer before and / or after your check in time!
The room is simple, clean, air conditioned and you get your own bathroom though the shower in our room wasn't working but we were too content to complain.
We ended up piling our things in the small table in the corner because there are no cabinets / drawers.
The nice view of the pool park is a bonus!
If you're more than 2 persons, don't worry because they have Standard rooms that has a pull out bed and also bigger capacity rooms like the Cabana, Deluxe, Family, Superior and Rest Area.
They have Duplex Villas too and these Villas already include Lakeside Activity Package!
Check out all of their available packages here.
Activities
This is the Pool Park, most of the rooms are here!
There are tables and chairs around the pool for you to enjoy a nice meal by the pool with your family and friends.
This area is not just for swimming, there are truly engaging obstacles that make this a really playful environment.
Except this one can fit you and your friends.
I was somewhat afraid that the chains would snap, it would really bamboozle Kandee hahaha
This is the perfect spot for a big screen movie night by the pool!
This is the lakeside pool!
Enjoy the beautiful view of Tadlac Lake from here!
Pets are not allowed in the pool but you can still take nice photos with your pet on this very Instagrammable stone walkway.
There are tables, bean bags, hammocks and a grill area which makes this lakeside spot a great place to hangout.
There’s another swing here overlooking the lake, remember to remove your slippers because they might fall off!
And here’s the activity area, where you can find all the fun activities like the vine swing, balsa rafting.
I lost some of the footage but here’s the jump n fly also known as the blob.
This is slip n fly they have two of these.
They also have a 13 feet jump for the faint of heart
You can also kayak your way to Camp Q where they have the outdoor archery, we didn’t get to visit because they said it’s under renovation.
As you can see, we brought Kandee in our kayak!
I think this was my favorite activity, unli kayak ss long as your arms can handle it!
Isn’t this the best pet travel destination?
None of the locals have seen alligators here for so many years though.
Can you imagine making your dog / pet swim in a lake full of alligators?
It's the most convenient towel for her.
Huge mosquitoes appear at night (and HUGE spiders that prey on the mosquitoes)
Can you tell that my dog truly enjoyed her vacation?
That’s it!
Thank you for joining us on this fun vacation!
